21 reviewsMy wife and I stayed here for two nights on a trip to Germany. It was our only two nights in Limburg. If you haven't stayed at a place like this before, its a bit hard to find. The Tafelspitz is actually a restaurant on the ground (street level) floor, and the rooms are above the restaurant. So, you have to go in to the restaurant to check in to your room. The rooms are newly finished, clean and ours had a terrace overlooking the street in front of the restaurant. They only have about 10 or 12 rooms. Half of them face the street and the other half face the parking lot behind the restaurant/hotel. In the hallway connecting the rooms they have a mini-fridge from which you can select a beer, water or soda (Coca-cola) and pay for it on the honor system. Everyone there was very helpful. The breakfast food was very good, but we unfortunately did not get a chance to eat there for lunch or dinner. Our room was very quiet, but it was not immediately above the restaurant. The only noise we really experienced was from the traffic on the street in front of the hotel. If you were worried about this you could request a room facing the parking lot. We would definitely use this hotel again.
