11 reviewsStayed at this hotel for a week. Convenient location for the quiet town and busy beach area. All within a short walk. Great hotel. Very clean and light and spacious. Staff friendly and fantastic. In peak times we were advised to get off Rugen by 9am as long traffic jams. We missed breakfast so that we could leave early. Great advice. As we were missing breakfast they made us up a travelling picnic for the morning (How nice is that ?). Can't recommend this hotel enough, and the town is beautiful with great eis cafes and Restaurants. About 10 miles away is the town of Binz. Head for the Nord Beach. It is FKK next to the car park (No clothes needed for the uninitiated). Intimidating the first time, and then you wonder what all the fuss is about. Lots of families, very safe and beautiful beach. Uncrowded. You will go there many times during your stay. Back to the hotel. Only 3 floors with a lift if you need it, but the stairs are easy and wide. Free on site parking at the foot of the stairs. Food is the best in the area and a bit cheaper than elsewhere. Salt water indoor pool and massage area in the basement. No noisy entertainment or guests. All in all a very relaxing place and we highly recommend it. It also says something about the place when the owner came and found us after a day and gave us back 100 Euros. Apparently we had overpaid. Something we were not aware of. How is that for honesty?
