BARDOLINO Fine.Food.Hotel

I stayed at Bardolino hotel to attend Spielwarenmesse, an annual toy exhibition held every year in Nuremberg. Being that it was my first time in Germany, I had that wonderful feeling, that strange combination of excitement and anxiety - happy that I was experiencing a new city, but nervous about getting around. Well the staff at Bardolino helped to alleviate my anxiety. The front desk staff, Simona and the slim gentlemen (I regretfully never got his name), were very helpful. They gave me detailed directions to places I needed to go, called taxis for me, and provided room service so fast they practically knocked on my door before I hung up the phone. The room was clean, the bed ultra comfortable, and I especially loved the large windows that open vertically or horizontally. I also got a complimentary bottle of Italian wine - a nice surprise after a hard day's work. The breakfast was top notch. They had a bread there that's so good, I thought about extending my stay...for bread! The kitchen staff were also exceptional. Whoever made my eggs should get a raise. They were perfect. I'm crossing my fingers that Nuremberg, Germany will be an annual trip. If my boss ever refuses to approve staying at hotel Bardolino, I'll tell him that *I* will pay the difference to lodge there. That's how good this place is. 10/10 stars.
