Hotel Continental

First of all, I knew I wasn’t staying in ultra luxury when I booked this place, given the price. I arrived late and was given the key to room 214. It was a large room with a single bed, writing table, and sink. Communal showers and toilet were in the corridor. I found the hotel as a whole, and my room, to be dated but very clean and functional. The room was on the corner of the two streets and it seems to be a bit of a party area with a few nightclubs nearby. But, as well as closing the windows, I had shutters to close as well which blocked out a lot of the noise. The hotel is located a five minute walk from the central station, five minutes from the St Lorenz church and much of the beautiful old town, the shopping centres etc. There are many nice cafes and bars on your doorstep. So much within walking distance and a short walk to tram, train and buses at the station for attractions further away. If you don’t have too high expectations, and you should not have at the price which I paid, this hotel is everything you need.
