Very nice place with a friendly hostess. The rooms were comfy and cosy, and everything in the room super clean. Surroundings quiet in a rural area. Breakfast was fantastic! Free car park just outside the place. WiFi was OK, and there are many satellite channels on the TV. Highly recommended!

Quiet and cosy

The booking went smoothly, the reception was very friendly, the rooms are quiet, very clean and novel, a rich breakfast, lots of information about the surroundings, parking lots in front of the house - what more do you want?:-)

Nice and friendly

We only spent one night here, but we were very satisfied. A nice environment, a great location for the Syltshuttle and a great breakfast! We had booked ourselves in the morning and were very grateful for the accommodation.

It's heartfelt, friendly, great at the price.

This is one of the most comfortable places to stay on a weeklong trip around the Baltic Sea. The welcome from the hostess created a pleasant atmosphere and excellent well-being, which was further enhanced after seeing the tastefully refurbished rooms. These most positive reviews given by previous guests have their accuracy.

The best room

Wonderful bed &  breakfast, nice room house delightfully decorated, very kind landlady. The breakfast was very good with homemade marmelades, lots of choice. The garden is also delightfully. Ideal placed if you want to go Sylt but not to stay on the quiet expensive island. 

Great place to stay

The landlady was so helpful with recommendations for what to see, and also helped us get our boarding passes printed (for the dreaded Ryanair!).  Hearty breakfast with good coffee, and while my other half was out driving and taking photos around the countryside I was able to borrow a bicycle for a pleasant ride into town.  Wifi was very good.  Countryside is flat and perfect for cycling.  Rural location but very close to town.  I noted an earlier review mentioning smoking/non-smoking. I did pick up a very slight trace of smoke in the hall, but nothing in our room, and we are very anti-smoker, perhaps it's allowed in just one of the rooms, was not an issue. Rooms seemed recently renovated. Good value and we would definitely stay here again.  Will try to get back for some proper bird-watching and/or cycling next time. (Side notes: Wonderful fresh food at the Kaffeemaus (lunch) and Ratskeller (dinner) in town, including vegetarian/vegan options as well as traditional meat, etc.  Tip: Stop at Friedrichsstadt en route back to Hamburg.)

The South End House is a lovingly maintained private boarding house. The rooms are very beautiful and original furnished. They are very clean and quiet. The breakfast is varied. The landlady is nice and friendly.

Maintenance rooms

The phone call for the reservation was already very friendly. When we arrived, we were greeted with a friendly and friendly welcome. From the outside, the guesthouse already looked very comfortable. We were escorted to our room, and we quickly noticed that the comfortable and loving was moving through all the rooms. The family of the guesthouse was very polite, calm, kind and simply friendly. Thank you very much for the great breakfast and excellent accommodation.

Loving Accommodation

Nice, cozy room, good breakfast, nice and friendly family. The house is tastefully decorated. Wi-Fi is free. In good weather it's probably even nicer.

Comfortable room

We had a studio with two dogs - very nicely furnished, lovingly decorated and modern. The kitchen was classy (the toaster was missing, you would have gotten it from the lovely hostess). In the kitchen everything was available, microwave, induction stove, bakery. A small terrace, with the dog for 2 minutes to the morning pipe. Especially nice: Sleeping in some kind of Alkoven! We felt very comfortable. And we didn't have to bring any bedding or towels (abundantly available) outside. Location: Unfortunately, very outside. Recommendation: The bakery at EDEKA, the bread will still be crunchy. We'll drive here again!
