We actually lived in this picturesque town for a couple of years and would meander down the cobblestone streets to this restaurant often, but we actually stayed here for about a week prior to moving back to the states. Thomas, the owner, was a joy and always encouraged us to try out our German. Our week there was wonderful. This little hotel and restaurant was one of our favorite things about Konigstein. If you're looking for an authentic experience, fly into Nuremburg, drive to Konigstein, stay here! Walk down to the naturbad and drink a beer in the sunshine and watch the kids swim. I desperately hope we make it back some day. Truly the best little town and community.
