Arthotel Munich

This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. The location is super convenient to Old Town and Munich Central Station. The staff were amazing, and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. I arrived before 15:00 (3pm) so my room was not ready yet, but the staff happily offered to store my luggage in their luggage closet, which they keep securely locked. True to it's name, this hotel is also an art gallery of sorts, so the decor can be a bit eccentric to some. When I checked in, I received incredible service by Aryan, one of the front desk clerks. Aryan answered all my questions about the hotel and the city, and made some exciting recommendations. Meeting people like him is why traveling is so much fun for me. I was travelling solo, so I booked a single-bed room. While the room looked small, it was actually perfect for my needs. There was a towel warmer in the bathroom and a minifridge under the desk. The rooms are mid-range priced, and I found prices reasonable for the quality. This hotel offers a free breakfast buffet every morning. The food selection was extensive and the food was well-stocked and well-organized. The location was a big benefit. Munich Central Station is one block away, and you can go anywhere on public transportation from there. Karlsplatz is only 1 km away (about a 14 minute walk). Marienplatz is about a 22 minute walk. I recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient place with interesting decor.
