Only 4 hours from ferries, we booked for an overnight stay en route to Italy but it would be well worth staying a few nights to explore this very lovely area. Many German visitors doing precisely that. Lovely family run hotel and an excellent restaurant with many local specialities. A very good experience overall, we can't praise it enough!
