Waldhotel am See

I’ve been at the Teikyo hotel for more than a month during the lockdown. Despite the quarantine it has been a very good period. The place is amazing and full of surprise, during my time here I had the opportunity to explore it in depth but I still couldn’t discovered everything. The life of the place move around a big square terrace from which you can enjoy the beautiful and relaxing view of the lake. From there you can get access to the bar and to the dining room, where they serve meals three times a day. There is a boat house and, when the weather is nice, it’s possible to have a boat excursion. Another possibility is to take the bike and ride in the woods all around the area, it’s full of nice traks and it’s even possible to get to Berlin in around one hour. Among the other stuff, there is also a sauna, a fitness room, some ping pong tables, a volleyball field surrounded by the forest and a basketball one. The garden is also huge and full of plants and when I was there the staff was restoring an old greenhouse and planting even more herbs and flowers all around. During my time there, in fact, I also meet most of the people working there which have all been very kind and helpful to me. My room was in the hostel area (there are both hotel and hostel rooms) with the view on the lake. The place was quiet, clean and comfortable and I always had a good sleep. It is perfect for relaxing or to have tours and explore the area around but also to get isolated and work on your stuff while at the same time it is very easy to reach the city in a very short time. Although my staying was not planned I had a wonderful time there and I will come back for sure in the future this time without the external pressure of a global pandemic :)
