Zur Kripp

This hotel is a true diamond that we were lucky to book . The location is excellent - about 12km. north of Boppard and directly on the Rhine Bike Trail . The hotel restaurant was very unassuming from the outside but the interior is quite appealing . Very reasonable price point with a really great clean and bright room . Room was updated and very comfortable. Our balcony looked out over the Rhine where watched multiple barges and river boats traveling up and down the river . The manager and his colleague was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly , very helpful and full of interesting information. He actually carried up our two bike trailers into our rooms . Great inside bicycle storage . The restaurant was closed on the Monday we stayed there but they prepared us pommes , homemade Goulash and flamkuchen/flatbread . It was really delicious and they even had apple strudel for dessert . Truly a great experience.
