On our walking tour along the Westweg this place was probably the best in terms of food and atmosphere (not, however, the best in terms of room quality). Meat, fish and veggie dishes: no problem, even as glutenfree option. what we especially liked was the uncomplicated behaviour of the owners and the service guy. It had been a pleasure to be served. Everything went very cool and relaxed, not comparable with other places where we had been on our way. All was topped by the excellent breakfast, including a glass (or more) of sparkling wine, lots of really good cheese (not the usual cheese slices you get very often in German restaurants), diversity of bread. And not to forget, including the smile of the owner whether everything is OK We had been in four places on our hiking trip, and if I had to return to a place it would be the Haldenhof.
