14 reviewsWe stayed here in Dec/Jan 2015 for the Christmas and New Year holidays. There was seven of us and we had the perfect holiday. This year Dec 2017/Jan 2018 we decided to revisit for the same period. There was 11 of us this time around with our sons bringing there girlfriends along and we brought a aunt and uncle for their 50th wedding anniversary. Now I wanted to keep Silberdistel Garni as Bolsterlang "best kept secret" but it would be unfair.( We stayed for 22 nights and I have to say this time it even surpassed the first time around.) All our rooms were spacious with seating areas, good bathrooms and great showers. There are functional kitchens to cook and make snacks but we prefer to eat out and there are numerous fab eating places close by. Good parking and ample storage for ski equipment etc. The wifi is ok but can be up and down due to the mountains and weather and other guests trying to stream.,The breakfasts are awesome and you never tire at the choices of fresh fruit, cheeses, hot and cold meats , yoghurts, cakes etc etc and it is plentiful even for my two meter tall sons with appetites to scare most people. The hosts Timo,Tony,Ingrid and Ellen go out of their way to make your stay sublime. From groceries to bus timetables, ordering taxi's , local info, walks skiing etc they really are the hosts with the most. We had the most wonderful time as a family and being in your home away from home makes the memories last. Don't even hesitate book this place and thank me later for the advice. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we all did.

The reception is open from 07:00 until 20:00. Please note that the hotel is closed between early November and mid-December. The hotel has a main building an a separate building 50 metres away which hosts the apartments and some rooms. |
