For a nominal two-star hotel, this was great. It is a fantastic location by the entrance to the city walls of Rothenburg o. d. Tauber with parking directly outside the hotel. On arrival, the landlady highly recommended the evening 'Night Watchman tour' of the town (in English language), which we did and very much enjoyed. We ate in the hotel restaurant, which we thought was very good. We can recommend the vegetarian potato gratinee with mozzarella and spinach. Continental breakfast was super. Lovely fresh boiled eggs, fantastic breads and good coffee. Couldn't really ask for more. The hotel is really good overall. By the way, if you're touring the area, we can also recommend stopping in Dinkelsbuehl for a walk around. It has quite a different feel from Rothenburg.
