Landhaus Heinrichshof

This was a charming bed and breakfast set in picturesque grounds. There is a large courtyard, and a garden in the back with seating. Rooms are basic, but clean and perfectly pleasant, with a double bed, side tables, table and chairs, wardrobe, TV (German channels) and full length mirror. The rooms were not air conditioned but there was a large window in the room which opened, so that helped keep the room cool (just beware of insects!). There was an en-suite bathroom but the shower was not particularly enclosed (apart from a shower curtain) so it was fairly easy for the entire bathroom floor to get wet during a shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke English far better than I could speak German! On our last day they kindly helped us with organising a taxi. The breakfast buffet was large, with a selection of fruit, boiled eggs, cereal, bread, cold meats, tea, coffee and juice, and there was loads of seating, with the option of sitting outside if you wanted. Location wise, it was quiet and just a short walk (approx 10 minutes) from the centre of town, passing down some very picturesque streets. There is a Lidl just a few minutes away. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again.
