The room was ready even though we arrived before noon. This was the first of our interactions with hotel staff that was always friendly and helpful. Our room was low-priced as it had no view, but was of a decent size, particularly the bathroom. And it was absolutely clean. Breakfast was in a large, modern room and was tasty. We were there only a short time, but each morning, we looked forward to starting the day off with a hearty breakfast. The location is right in the center of the old part of Heidelberg, so it's in walking distance to just about all the sights. Yet, because the hotel is off the main avenue, it was almost totally quiet at night. No hesitation recommending this hotel.
