They charged me 26 euros more by mistake and i Saw it directly.
 They told me at the réception that it was impossible to refund me the money in cash or by card immediately because the main office have to do it.

They told me that in a delay of one month maximum i will have my money back on my bank account which never happened.

This is the final answer i got 2 months later from them :
Dear Nicolas

I send this request to our support system.

Unfortunately, they think that they cannot refund you the money.

I tried everything I could and I am deeply sorry I cannot give you another answer.

Unfortunately, the support lady seems not interested in pleasing the customers… ☹

26 euros jamais remboursés

We visited this campsite in july without reservation. We camp with a folder (Tent on wheels/ vouwwagen/ klappwagen/ tent plié). At the reception I asked in german language for a place for 3 nights for our folder. The woman had never heard of a folder (klappwagen) which is quite strange when you work at a campsite. She directed us ‘to a nice spot’. 
The campsite is next to IKEA, next to a highway and close to the airport. So it’s quite noisy. 
There was almost no grass on the pitch. This became a problem when it started raining. There was a pool of more than 20 meters in front of the pitch. The drainage was so bad that the soil in the tent was also soaked. Because there was no grass, the soil splashed up the side of the tent for 30 cm. 
We paid 115,50 for 3 nights. A lot of money for a campsite without much grass and a lot of noise.
It takes about 1,5 hour to reach the center of Hamburg by public transport.

Expensive, bad pitch

An expensive pitch not worth the money. 
First, the campground is of course close to the autobahn so there is always noisy. 
Second they closed the reception earlier than stated.
Third, the kitchen facilities are crap. I used more than 25 minutes to boil one liter of water and had to pay 0,5€.
A god atmosphere is absent.
The only good thing is that it is close to IKEA with the “restaurant”.
If you don’t have a camper, stay away!


Not a Good choice for tent campers!

the toilets doesn’t have any fan
but the shower was good 
we were here for two nights 
we had to come back to the camp at 6 pm because they couldn’t set our car number in their database.
toilet and shower was far for people who were at the end of the camp 
it was beside the entrance
and there was an IKEA company just nearby the camp 

nothing special but overcrowded 

The camp is very big, the pitches are huge. There is enough space for everyone, lots of green. The people at the recepction are very nice and friendly. 
Only one bathroom facilitiea, but they are big enough sp there is no croud. You can feel the change of the people as not all of them are cleaning after themselves. 
The highway and airport is near, but the noise didnt bother us. 
The connection to the city is good. 
Maybe would ve usefull to have with you a longer electricity extention as the electricity connection could be quite distant (30 m+). 
They also have a little playground for kids that could be better done, but it is a start. Even if we do not like sand on the floor ;)
Overall the camp is very good and would recimend the stay. 

Good start for visiting Hamburg

Enjoyed the stay in Knaus CampingPark near IKEA Schnelsen. Loved the small house with peaceful location and having fun with family , away from India and away from all the hectic schedules. Cooked Food had much fun in exploring the city with local transport and the most enjoyable part getting the Best of Good Food and Cleanest Air.

Camping at Hamburg

Located next to motorway, so it's very noisy. It was raining a night before we came, so the place for the tent was quite swampy. Sanitaries are big and clean. Camping is good connected with city center - bus + metro.
