This family-owned inn is the last of its kind in Hamburg! The owners are accommodating and welcoming to everyone who stays! They serve a limited menu and the restaurant is booked weeks in advance. The beer is amazing and available anytime you need. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great hotel family owned with wonderful service. 
Restaurant is very good we tried the fish and  pork. They have great beer on draft and expresso machine which was always available. Room was very clean and it was serviced daily. Will definitely come back and stay.

Hotel Krupunder Park is an absolute gem outside Hamburg.  The room we stayed in was in the annex, which was very quiet and spacious.  We enjoyed the breakfast immensely, and our one dinner at the hotel was very tastefully presented and prepared.  The owners couldn't have been more helpful to us, recommending sights to see plus even driving us to the S Bahn and helping us buy our tickets.  It is conveniently located to the S Bahn, a lovely park right across the street, and convenient for shopping also.  We'd stay there again in a minute!!  Just need to think of a reason to go back to Hamburg.

We visited Hamburg for some days and stayed at this beautifully arranged hotel. Staff extremely helpful and gentle. Delicious food, nicely arranged - and distinguished wine selection!!!

A spotless hotel with wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. The room's, in terms of decor are slightly outdated, however, this adds to its charm and the hotel itself, is much older than the frontage suggests. The bed is always extremely comfy and I always sleep well here.

The restaurant's food is extremely good, I just very much wish there was a non-alcoholic alternative available to the high quality beers on tap. Given the proximity to the business park and requirements for mindful drinking by their clientele, I do hope they consider this in the near future. 

But again, I'm extremely fond of this hotel. 

Time for a review of the Krupunder Park Hotel, guess I have been there around 5 times already in the last 7 years, as it is very close to my company's European global HQ in Europe. Since it is not that much of a populated area, there is not large selection of hotels available in the neighborhood, this is probably the best option. However it is hard to categorize it, it could be close to a 3-star according to the average European system. Extra points for being a family business, the owner lady is friendly, she invited us to a homemade "digestiv" made from prune, a traditional recipe from her parents who came from Poland after WWII. The restaurant area has interesting memorabiblia of the hotel, like old newspaper news on the wall and a 1940s phone. The hotel front door closes by night and you need to take your key away if you estimate you will be back after 10pm (or was it 11pm?). Strange... The breakfast is OK, featuring nice German bread, I miss freshly squeezed juice but that is rare in that price range. Very good food at the restaurant, this week I asked for two Weinerschnitzels (traditional escalope), and I really enjoyed them. 
Time to review the rooms... Disappointed as usual to have the traditional German pillows, so soft they seem full of air. No matter how many of them you stock, you can't seem to get your head in the right position for night reading session. I had to really insist the front desk young guys to get me a right hard one. Come on, most of your guests are NOT German, the overall confort quality would dramatically increase if you leave one of those in every room. Unbelievable weird German tradition! One of my English colleagues is used to this and brings his own pillow from London. Anyway, that is how things are done around there, so no real complain about that. However it would be easy to take advantage of the more-than-usual complains about the pillow topic.
I was surprised to see a new LG flat TV in the room, allowing easily-interfaced USB connection for my external hard drive. Great! The shower is not really big but nicely dialed hot water came out of it immediatly. Big mistake regarding the toilet paper: I know recycling is cool but the quality of it is almost unacceptable, feels like a newspaper. Also the size of the bath towels is ridiculously small. Anyway, the room was quiet and comfortable but I had to turn the heating to the max to avoid the below zero temperature outside to penetrate the walls. By chance, it got warm and I had a nice sleep. 2 free bottles of mineral water with gas are provided every day.
Bad Internet connection: different wi-fi signals from different servers mix in and as you want to work in the lobby you need to reconnect to the nearest. For some reason I could easily connect the first day but after that it got tricky. But it was free... 
Overal nice hotel with helpful staff and basic points covered (warm water, warm room, nice Tv, good breakfast and quiet sleep). Just a worry regarding my next visit, I will make sure to book that extra hard pillow! :) 
Looking forward to enjoy a wonderful wienerschnitzel again.

It was my first stay in this hotel which is not so far from Hamburg airport. I found it a nice local hotel where I could find everything I need. The service was excellent. The room was quiet and clean and the bed was comfortable. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to others.

Very good traditional hearty german food. Great local place in nicely soberly decorated room. My wife and I regularly go there for a nice casual dinner to enjoy local specialties. The fact that they have seasonal dishes ( for example asparagus dishes during asparagus season) add to the attraction. Reliable and regular customers.
