1 reviewThis farmhouse is delightful, with loads of oddities and a rustic feel about the place. The owners are very welcoming and although they speak only a little English, communication was not a problem. We found it very quiet and relaxing, and was an absolute bargain at only 34 Euros for a double room, inclusive of a continental breakfast. Rooms do not have a TV, so be prepared to make your own entertainment, or go for a walk as the scenery around Gutach is stunning. We did find that even though it was August, very few inns seemed to be open in the near vicinity. However, once a week the owners make "flammenkuchen", where they cook a local pizza type bread in their own wood fired bread oven - very nice. The owner also provided a glass of home made powerful schnapps. There is plenty of room for kids to let off steam, and there are bikes and scooters etc for their use. Also, right next door is a fantastic looking small scale roller coaster, that follows the contours of the hill side.
