Parkblick

We only stayed one night as we were on a driving tour, so did not use all the facilities and can therefore not comment on those. We arrived early as we had just checked out of our hotel in Hannover, the room was not ready but they let us leave our bags so we did not have to leave them in the car. We went to the park across the street and had our packed lunch, when we got back the room was ready. The room was large clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage, no air con though. My only criticism is that the curtains were to thin, if you wanted to sleep in (which we didn't) you would need a travel mask.The staff were friendly and helpful and English spoken, but will answer you in German if you speak to them in German, one of my pet hates is when I speak German and they reply in English, makes me feel as if my German is not good enough. The location is very good, just up the road from the centre but still very peaceful. We did not use the restaurant for the evening meal (Went to the Ambrosia just down the road which was excellent) but the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. To sum up, I would use this hotel if I wanted to stay in this area again.
