134 reviewsThe hotel is away from the maddening crowd of this very tourist centric town (of which I'm a big fan of). In a nice residential area with a few other Hotel Garnies around the facilities are wonderful. We had room 3 which is a larger two room with a nice sitting area and separate bedroom (the toilet was in the sitting area and the shower (fantastic shower) in the bedroom. Both rooms had TVs which we didn't turn on. The view of the backyard and the mountains was great. The breakfast and the owner's wife were wonderful. UNFORTUNATELY the hotel is closing in September as they owners retire and relocate. Not sure what will become of the place. Will be a loss if it closes entirely. While the location is good for peace and quiet there's also a lack of restaurants in the near vicinity. Also not close to a bus stop. So be prepared to walk a bit or call for a Taxi. The Olympic Ski jumps are just a short walk up the street.
