We only stayed a couple days but it was bad. Dirty, unprofessional and unorganized with weird people living there permanently. 
You need to pay extra for sheets and towels. Beds already have sheets on, but they look like they were never changed so you need new one to put on top.

Besides the guy working in the hostel office, on the reception, and the fact that it's close to some restaurants and bars, I cannot say anything nice about this place. It's dirty and it smells (and I'm a smoker, not really sensitive about smells in general). There were no power sockets in the room so we had to charge our phones in the hallway outside the room and bellow, on lower floors (one socket per floor). The elevator - not working. The kitchen - so dirty that it's scary. The bathroom - dirty, with no soap, no towels, no toilet paper. 

The only reason we booked this hostel was the low price, but guess what - they charge 3 euros for a sheet, per person, so i was stunned by the fact that we had to pay extra 18 euros upon arrival.

Second time Ive stayed here as its right next door to the Meisenfrei Blues Club... Its a basic hostel but its clean and handy for the town center. We had the top floor room the second time and was great. Dont expect the Ritz here, its a low cost hostel but its clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast.

Band stay

Very friendly staff! We booked 3 beds in a dorm room of 10 but when we arrived we got upgraded to a 3 person room since we were 3 girls and in the dorm room there were a lot of men. So it was a very nice stay!

Room upgrade!

Breakfast - have to pay in cash! I am still waiting for mine as there were NO staff at all on duty at breakfast time - the hostel owes me 4.90 Euros. Other guests said this was quite usual! Towels etc 4 Euros extra in cash!! So not as cheap as it looks! Shower fitting (Beamish room!) broken so almost impossible to use, and water impossible to get a constant temperature! Alternately cold and scalding! Could not complain directly to hotel as...... no member of staff on duty!   Check-in took 25 minutes. AVOID!!!!!! How on earth does this place continue to exist!!! It would be so easy and cost little to get it running properly!!!!!

You MUST surely be able to find somewhere better!

I’ve been to Bremen during a really short period of time (literally slept one night so that I could catch a flight), but my stay wasn’t the best one, due to a stupid situation.
First of all, let me say that the staff is some of the nicest one I’ve run into in this kind of stays. I was coming from Berlin to Bremen by bus and I was supposed to arrive at a decent time to check in on time, but unfortunately, there was a car accident on the highway and we got there three hours late. I sent an email during the trip and the guy from the reception promptly stayed waiting for us. 
The problem was that although he told us that we had two beds, there was only one. Fortunately, I met an awesome girl in the common room who let me sleep in her room.
Apart from that, it’s a very cheap place with huge rooms, it’s not for everyone. It could use a air conditioning system, though.

Unlucky stay 

The only good thing about it was the location.
Dirty, no reception whatsoever, smells horribly, atmosphere is super weird and it's everything but welcoming. 
I guess that you get what you pay for, but I wouldn't come back never ever. 

Wouldn't recommend it to anyone 

I have never felt more uncomfortable. Slept directly head to head on one side to an old weird guy (the weirdness of course isn't the hostels fault but the head to head thing is) and head to feet to another. Room was dirty with old, really disgusting carpets and don't let me even start to tell u about the kitchen. Tried to sleep at least a couple of hours and checked out before the sun was even up. Never had such a bad experience in any hostel I stayed yet.

Worst night ever

Price and location are good, but here comes the truth when you get in there...atmosphere is quite weird and not welcoming at all. There is a real lack of cleanliness, smells of dust and we realized that they do not change the bed sheet which covers the mattress, so I had the pleasure to sleep on someone's else bed sheet (the same for the next guest using my bed). Wifi does not work.

Worth to spend a couple euro more for another hostel.
