Hotel SeeSchloss am Kellersee

The location could not be better. The hotel is overlooking a beautiful lake from the front and a magnificent garden at the back. Our room was large and very nicely furnished. We were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Indeed the receptionist was extremely charming and helpful. All the public areas were charming. The quirkiness came in when we asked the receptionist if there was a bar. Yes she said and pointed us in the direction of it. It turned out to be a small room with many bottles of beer and wine on display. Prominently displayed were the prices and we quickly realised that we had to help ourselves. So after choosing a bottle of wine, we went to the reception and paid for it then took it into a charming little room to drink it. Our only disappointment was that that the restaurant is only open from Wednesday to Sunday and we were there on Monday. We would very much like to revisit this hotel and spend more time there
