Arcadia Hotel Düsseldorf

It is a nice hotel in a nice town. At that time of the year the streets are covered with smell of linden. My husband and I stayed there for the exhibition in Düss and you can get there by S8 easily. Actually it was a bit tiring walk from the train station to the hotel with the luggages we had, we thought it was shorter..If you have luggages to carry it would be better to take the bus or take a taxi. If you don't have anything it is very nice to walk. The personnel at the reception and the breakfast area are very kind and helpful. Our room was looking at the front of the hotel where the cars were parking and by the road. So there is a noise if you open the balcony door. There is no AC at the room, and it was a very hot period so we slept with the door open. But they said it was an exceptional weather. The room was quite big with a kitchenette and a dressing room and a sitting area, a desk. Everthing was clean and the bed was comfortable. But next time we would prefer a room at the back of the hotel. There was the fridge, and a cooker but no cuttlery, pots, pans and dishes. I think it would be better to have a coffee machine as well. Breakfast was very good, almost everything from cheese, ham, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruıts, tomatoes, jam, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel :)
