A great find at an amazing value of 60E per night including breakfast and parking. Located right on the B49 and within walking distance to the ferry that crosses the Mosel to Beilstein. Michael welcomed us warmly and after ensuring that we were comfortably settled, he offered us a welcome drink and a plate of freshly baked pastry. We were assigned a room on the first floor, at the back of the house, however, there are several rooms on the second floor with fabulous views of the river. Cherry and Michael were wonderful hosts who were genuinely concerned that all our needs would be met. Breakfast was plentiful with never ending food – yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs, bread – we were encouraged to make sandwiches with the remaining food to take along on our trip. We even received a parting gift of a box of apples picked from their orchard in their back yard and a bag of freshly made sugar coated almonds.
