Absolutely loved the place. The room was large, clean and clad with modern wood. There was a small balcony to the room. The rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was amazing and we loved the little treats. My favourite was the cream cheeses. The guesthouse itself is picturesque, typically alpine. On our last morning we had breakfast outside looking at the mountains. The guesthouse was about 30 minutes walk from Rottach. However, if you ask for the Tegernsee card it allows you free travel on the buses to Tegernsee town etc. You can also catch the boat for free too. However, this is only for the south side of the lake. Top tip: Although some English is spoken in town, make sure you are confident with speaking German. The lady who ran the guesthouse could speak some English but I ended up speaking German.
