Springiersbacher Hof

My family and I chose to spend a last minute half week stay here without much research or expectation of what was in the area -- we were blown away by this gem! It's one of those places where you visit and feel like you've walked into a family gathering and you're welcomed with open arms. Even outside the hotel & restaurant, we've had nothing but kindness from the people in town. I found the accommodation to be very comfortable and spacious -- a really good value for what we paid! Now the restaurant is what solidified our stay. They grow the grapes and make the amazing wine you drink, the food is as local as it can be and was the best we have eaten in the Mosel area and the entire few weeks we spent in Germany. For the moms out there, Gabriele had managed to do the impossible -- convince my picky and cranky daughter to eat food out of her comfort zone -- which she had enjoyed immensely that she looked forward to eating there again. I feel like little kids know when food is cooked with love. If this place can create such a significant impression to me AND my children...I think it means it's a special place indeed. We hope to be back!
