Gästehaus Wörner

Situated on the outskirts of town, on the edge of a vineyard ‘where the grapes can grow so they can make more wine’, this lovely property is so peaceful and quiet. Ample parking area for us, easy access to the beautifully decorated house covered in colourful flowers. There is a small but adequate kitchen available for residents use, and furnished terrace outside for eating, or to enjoy an evening beer, or one of the truly delicious local wines in the sunshine. Bedrooms upstairs are a good size, clean and fresh, have a nice ensuite, wardrobe, table and chairs, all with a great view. With comfy beds, clean fresh linen, set in such peaceful surroundings, you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. Breakfast is the usual lovely spread, eggs freshly cooked by Andrea, fresh crispy assortment of bread rolls. Just a wonderful start to the day. The area is surrounded by rolling hills which are covered in vineyards and other fruits, lovely for walking amongst and to admire the lovely views. We as motorcyclists had loads of routes to choose from and spent three days exploring the hundreds of miles of beautiful countryside visiting the many lovely towns and villages in the area. On return from a day out we could choose from a selection of wonderful beers or wines stocked in the fridge, to enjoy a relaxing drink on the terrace and watch the sun setting over the hillside to the west. Just mark the honesty sheet with room number and beers taken, and pay the bill on checking out. Then a wander down to find somewhere for our evening meal, some great places to choose from. The town has a good selection of great restaurants that provide a good choice of beers and wines, great selection of fresh food piled high, so arrive at these establishments hungry. This is a wonderful guesthouse set in rolling countryside, providing wonderful views, peace and tranquillity, with lovely hosts, just so nice. I would not hesitate to return here again if ever I am back in this wonderful area of the Black Forest.
