Stayed for 2 nights while visiting Dresden and Colditz so the location was ideal, there appears to be 2 parts to this property but we had a room over the office which is near the restaurant as it is also a tapas restaurant and a winery. The room was nice with a big comfy bed and a seating area, a double wardrobe, drawers and ensuite bathroom, a hairdryer was provided but no toiletries at all, not even a bar of soap. There is also no wifi at all. Outside our room was a refrigerator which contained wine made by the owners vineyard to purchase and water, wine glasses and a corkscrew were also provided. My hubby tried a bottle of red and said it was very nice (subjective of course but he likes a good quality red wine). We ate in the tapas restaurant one of the nights and the food was delicious, the restaurant is underground inside what was a wine cellar. Breakfast was also provided which was very good, the usual continental style. The owner of the property does not speak a lot of English but tries her best. We were able to park our motorbike at the rear of the building which is behind a locked gate so it was very secure. We walked the short distance into Radebeul where we were able to catch a tram into Dresden for €8.5 each return. Dresden is a beautiful city with large buildings reconstructed after the war to their original standard and there are lots of big open spaces, it is well worth a visit, pick up a mini guide from the tourist information to get an idea of where the best sights are. Our visit to Colditz was also very interesting and about an hours ride away, the castle itself can be seen but is not easy to find, it is not well publicised as an attraction and does not mean so much to Germans, you have to go up a few back streets to get to it, we took the 2 hour extended tour in English at 2pm which was well worth it. This was a lovely place to stay, very relaxing and quiet as it is on the outskirts of the town, just be aware that there is no wifi and they only take cash payment.
