Burg Rabenstein

Room is available from 4:00 PM of the check-in date. Guests arriving after 6:00 PM should inform the hotel in advance via phone. Contact information can be found on the booking confirmation.

Directions: for the navigation device, please use the following address: postcode / town / street = 95491 / Ahorntal / Rabenstein 33 or follow the signs “Burg Rabenstein“ (not “Burg Rabeneck“) after you leave the exit ”Trockau“ on the Autobahn A9.

The hotel offers parking for hotel guests directly after the barrier on the right side. Please ring at the barrier, and the gate will be opened. From the parking lot to the castle it is a 80 m walk. To unload your luggage you may drive straight ahead to the entrance of the hotel (castle gate) at the castle bridge. Please note that you may not park there permanently. Should the castle gate be closed, please ring the golden bell on the right side of the door.

The castle restaurant is open daily except on Mondays. Table reservations can be made for the time between 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Due to private events the opening hours may be limited or changed. We recommend that you make your table reservations in advance. Every evening the restaurant offers a menu recommended by the chef. Guests can choose between a three-course menu at a price of EUR 36.00 per person - starter or soup, three main courses to choose from, dessert - or a four-course menu at a price of EUR 42.00 per person. We kindly ask to reserve the menu recommendation in advance.

Cave tours through "Sophienhöhle" can be booked online in the hotel's ticket shop. Castle tours are free of charge for hotel guests, but a prior reservation is recommended due to a limited number of participants.
