Hotel Villa Ems

I stayed in one of Villa Ems self catering apartments which consisted of separate rooms, Bedroom, kitchen, living area, and small bathroom. There were ample utensils, plates, glasses and cooking facilities to prepare your own meals. I was surprised at the space,as it was not an expensive hotel to stay. Not ultra modern, but very good furniture and decoration, and a comfortable bed. The apartment was situated in the very centre of the town, Borkum, close to beaches and shops and the little railway that operated between town and port. There was a pleasant outlook from my windows over the town and an adjacent park. There is access to the hotel's indoor swimming pool which is actually located in the basement. An extremely good breakfast is included in their rates in a lovely bright room in the front of the hotel with big windows and a pleasant outlook. I asked if I could use their clothes washing machine, and found that they offered a complimentary clothes washing service. I just left my dirty clothes outside their laundry and they were all washed and folded in my room when I returned after my days outing. You will get really good value for money at Villa Ems. They also offer hotel room accommodation in the same building which is not the subject of this review .
