City Hotel Hunsrücker Hof

We went to Boppard for a school music tour, and this was a perfect base. I was apprehensive at first, because it looked like quite a basic room from the google images, but was pleasantly surprised at the fact that the rooms have been updated since whenever the google images were taken. The team are so, so sweet, and incredibly helpful. It’s not a five-star hotel, so there aren’t five-star amenities, but you will always be greeted with a smile and an eagerness to please. The food was basic, but did the job, and we weren’t expecting too much from it. Such a perfect setting, too! It only took us about 3 or 4 minutes to walk from the hotel to the river, and is only a couple of minutes from some very nice restaurants in the town. Would definitely recommend. I can’t see myself staying there on a holiday of my own, but if you we were a group, maybe as a school trip or a group of student friends/on a budget, I would absolutely stay again. Ich war anfangs besorgt, weil es auf den Google-Bildern wie ein recht einfaches Zimmer aussah, war aber angenehm überrascht, dass die Zimmer seit der Aufnahme der Google-Bilder modernisiert wurden. Das Personal ist unglaublich hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Es ist kein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel, also sind die Annehmlichkeiten auch nicht fünf Sterne, aber Sie werden immer mit einem Lächeln bedient. Perfekte Lage, auch. Es dauert nur etwa 3 oder 4 Minuten, um zum Fluss zu laufen, und vielleicht das Gleiche, um zu einigen schönen Restaurants in der Stadt zu laufen. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall empfehlen und würde vielleicht bei einem anderen Schulausflug oder als Student in einem preisgünstigen Urlaub wieder hier übernachten. AKS Schüler
