Just don't go!!!!!! The owners were totally drunk. I booked a night and couldn't sleep at all!!!! They run all night through the hotel. You get the room right next to them. The doors are banging, screaming at each other!!!! I had to go down the hall and make it clear to them that this is a hotel in which people sleep, so that it finally became something quieter! Mattresses hang around, a relaxing sleep before the strenuous journey is not possible. Cleanliness well.. what can I say.

Keep going, and fast!

The rooms are old, simple, and well overpriced for the value they offer. There's not even breakfast. The food is ok, but nothing more. Since the restaurant has noisy parties on weekends until late at night, you shouldn't stay there on weekends because you don't get an eye.

Not to be recommended!!!

We were eating here a year ago, and we were wondering about the dirty umbrellas, but the food was very good. Today we were spontaneously on the terrace, and we were horrified. Dirty tables, unattended floors, hoods and dirty seat cushions, clean dining tables, bird-clawed lounge benches in the entrance area... we felt very uncomfortable and we left quickly. The hunger has passed us. It's really a shame, because the location with a simple view is great.

Unfortunately disappointing.

I'm from the Hanover region to a guest in the Weserbergland. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this restaurant visit. Orders have been changed, everything looks very old, there's no comfortable ambience and the taste of the food unfortunately leaves the food to be desired. The service was ok, but not as hospitable as in other similar restaurants in the region. I won't visit the restaurant again. For the summer with the situation it would have a lot of potential, but the first impression with old facilities, sanitary facilities etc. is already bad.

I'm afraid I'm not recommending it.

The dining in the restaurant and the kindness of the service staff at dinner were positive. The room was fine for the price. A little accommodated but spacious and clean. Shower and toilet are also acceptable. What is not at all acceptable is breakfast. The choice and quality were simply not enough for the calculated 9 euros. The coffee couldn't be drunk because I discovered an undefined gallon-like mass in 2 cups. Say it was fine. Nothing was put in, everything looked like it was counted. I rarely had such a bad breakfast. Every teenager can sleep better. The staff sat and sat on the back porch and didn't even have a chance to say goodbye to the breakfast. This was not really a solution to our problems, so we didn't really get to work with our request.

Cheap, but please book without breakfast

The Balkan restaurant, which has a nice location and a welcoming setting, was very friendly, the menu is varied and the prices are normally local, and the portions are made adequately and solid, although not with the special culinary filling, so those who expect a normal barbecue and nothing special will not be disappointed.

Very nice service and really good food. A very nice, big terrace with great views. We're already looking forward to the summer. We were there for dinner and were the last to leave. There's plenty of parking.

New restaurant

This family-run hostel with overnight accommodation is in any case highly recommended. A solid breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere and a very attentive operator made my short trip (two nights) a round trip experience.

A warm welcome

We were here with a group of 12 people. Reservations at this hotel were excellent, which was not the case at other hotels in Höxter. There were promises not kept. One point where I was not satisfied was the softening of mattresses - but that is perhaps also subjective. The food from the menu was excellent, the service (also by the boss) as well. The double room cost 70 euros per night with breakfast. At breakfast I would have liked to have had fresh bread instead of baked. But that was also the only shortcoming. The WiFi is free in the hotel. Parking options are more adequate in the hotel. The food can also be taken on the outside (looking at the basement) with the number of guests.

Although the rooms are a little older, the food tastes very good and you can get a great view of the rainbow from the terrace or breakfast room.
