Hotel Kallstadter Hof

After traveling for many days and experiencing hotel rooms that were the size of a closet and that totally lacked amenities, Hotel Kallstadter Hof was like walking into a Ritz Carlton! The hotel is absolutely charming! Rooms are unique and aren't cookie cutter. Ours was huge, as was the bathroom. We had so much room to move around and unpack. The bathroom came equipped with robes, slippers, a scale, and more than just basic amenities. We even had washcloths, which is very unusual for a European hotel. Bedding was nice and comfortable, and this is a very quiet hotel. They left fresh fruit on a table, along with several pieces of chocolate. There was a large armoire, and inside was a safe. Best of all, during a very hot September, it had A/C! There is free parking, however, there is a 14 Euro charge for breakfast. We did have the pleasure of eating at the restaurant, and the meal was excellent. Upon check out we were given a jar of homemade strawberry jam, which was a very nice touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
