Hotel is well situated at the Hackescher Markt, where there is a train station, grocery stores, and plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. Because other reviewers mentioned the breakfast is not worth the cost, we did our shopping at the nearby grocery store, which also has a takeout section with salad bar, fresh sandwiches, etc. There’s also a nice bakery around the corner. The hotel is a little dated, and while our room was clean, the carpet was stained. Even with that, we would consider staying there again.
