With my wife, we went for a short sightseeing tour to Berlin and stayed four days at the Garden Living Hotel just 10 minutes’ walk from the Central Railways Station, which can be easily reached by the FEX train from the BER Airport. The reason for choosing this hotel was that a few years ago my wife and my daughter stayed already here and were very satisfied. The tram and underground stations were very near; therefore, we could easily reach all the places we wanted to visit (Brandenburg Gate, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Berlin Cathedral, Alexanderplatz, Reichstag Building, etc.). Our room was on the 2nd floor, clean, large and nicely furnished. The hotel has a cozy boutique atmosphere. The staff was amicable and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Garden Living Hotel is great value for the price! We will return.

Garden Living Hotel Berlin is great value for the price! 

The location of the hotel is really very good, it's just perfectly connected from a traffic point of view. The cleanliness of the room/bathroom was exemplary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But we were really disappointed, because we had settled for a spacious room, as you can see on the hotel's website, as we had booked one of the more upscale room categories. But what we found was a very narrow, wrapped room with a tiny bathroom. Two, you could hardly move. The only option was on the bed, as our luggage was in front of the single room (for twenty-two people!) & shower, lacking space. And everything for 200 EUR. This was just as comfortable as an apartment tower, so sorry to say, even the interior of the room did not match the floor.

Disappointing

A haven in the vibrant centre of Berlin. Beautiful hotel with wooden floors and an old townhouse feel. Staff very welcoming - especially Carolina who took time to point us in the right direction for the sights. The hotel is only a 20 minute walk to Brandenburger Tor by the river, passing the German parliament. There are shorter walks to good restaurants. I recommend La Buvette (great wine & steak frites) on ChauseeStrasse or Schnitzelei Mitte between Novalis & Chausee Strassen. On Schiffbaudamm there is Ganymed, David Bowie's regular haunt. Looking forward to our next visit to Berlin & Garden Living!

A relaxing place of calm in the centre of Berlin. 

Lovely little boutique hotel. Had a very enjoyable stay in the best room with balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard garden. Very large room with good quality furniture and furnishings. Friendly and helpful staff 
Good location once you get your barring. 

Worried about staying in any other hotel room now as nothing will beat this. 

What a gem of a find. Off a main street but you'd never know it once you enter the beautifully tranquil rear garden, an oasis of calm complete with summer house and two resident ginger cats!. Breakfast quite expensive but varied. Free coffee and tea at all times was an added bonus. Staff v friendly and accommodating, even switching our room when we asked for a bath instead of a shower. Perfect place to unwind after hours of city-centre walking! Metro and tram only 5 minutes walk away so great location

Veritable Oasis

The Garden Living is ideally located for an extended weekend in the capital. It is within walking distance of the main train station and a great connection to the offices. The reception was really nice and attentive. Corona conditioned there was no breakfast, so all guests were allowed to provide themselves with coffee, tea and croissants. We lived in a studio with a balcony to the beautiful and quiet courtyard. The inner courtyard is beautifully green and invitingly designed. We felt really comfortable.

Comfortable and calm

Looking for a place to stay in Berlin for a few business appointments, I ran into the Garden Living. There were no two free rooms, so we booked two comfortable double rooms for a small price. The location was perfect for us because we traveled by train and all the meeting points were within walking distance. On Sunday night our keys were in the safe, as previously announced, everything worked great. Our rooms were connected across the aisle and we both lived on the second floor. The room was huge, with a small kitchenette and a dressing room. It felt like being in a friend's apartment on the railroad tracks.

Pleasant business trip

I am catching up with some reviews, so this refers to a visit some months ago.

Garden Living offers spacious, well appointed apartments on a  B&B basis.  The building is 10 minutes walk from the main railway station, and just a couple of minutes from the tram and U-bahn giving easy access to all of Berlin.   

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the apartment had a spacious bathroom and small basic kitchen, with a comfortable sofa in the main room.    An ideal base to visit Berlin from.

Very comfortable apartments

Just got back from a weekend Berlin to visit the Christmas markets, and the other attractions. Berlin is a great city, but Garden Living makes it even better. We stayed in S3 which js actually a studio I think. The room was FANTASTIC. Nice big bed which was lovely. The room was better then expected. It was decorated with a lovely touch. This is not just your average hotel. This is much better. 

Staff is very accommodating and helps with any questions you may have. Breakfast s a must and was very delicious. Parking was available also. Wifi was great. Had no problems getting connected. Check in was a breeze and we were on our way into Berlin city in no time. There are plenty of options for getting around via public transport. The hotel itself is neatly located near the Natuurkunde Museum. We purchased day passes for the trains, metro and buses. Believe me that is the best way to get around.

Do yourself a favor and book this hotel if you 0lan on visiting Berlin. You just cannot go wrong with this place!



Fantastic stay in december

We had a very beautiful extended weekend in the Garden Living. The rooms are very individually designed, it is advisable to check carefully when booking, we had selected our desired room a few weeks in advance and then it was also in line with the provision. The rooms are top and as shown in the pictures. Large, good equipment. The whole hotel ambience is also top and with attention to detail, e.g. lounge, staircase houses, garden. Facility as shown in the pictures and well in the shot. Breakfast is good and for EUR 9 is also super affordable. Especially lovely are the animal residents. Due to the super central location, 2 tram stations Hbf, subway stations also around the same area. Despite the central location, the hotel is located very quietly, we could easily get back to sleep from the next window in Berlin.
