Brunnen Apartments - Engelfittich

We booked this spacious, very central appartment just over Bernauer Strasse U-bahn (3 stops from Alexanderplatz) together with another family, alltogether 4 adults with 3 children. The appartment has four bedrooms, three with double beds and one with a bunk bed. High ceilings, old furniture, as berliner as you can get. The kitchen is well equipped (although no washing machine or Microwave). The living room is comfy with a day bed. On the groundfloor you will find a Yoga centre run by the property owners and you are more than welcome to take part in any of the classes and the meditation sessions they organise daily. They also have a bio organic eatery but it was closed when we visited due to christmas holidays. Next to the U-bahn entrance you can rent a bike from street bikes or from the little store across the street. A little further down the road Brunnerstrasse to the direction of Rosenthalestrasse you will find one of the most traditional puppet theatres that I have ever seen. Also, you are litterally around the corner of Berliner Mauer memorial. With tram M10 you will also approach the centre of the city from the side of Mitte.
