Alpenvilla Berchtesgaden

We spent four nights here while exploring Berchtesgaden. What a wonderful find! This is a great quality bed and breakfast in a large traditional German house. We stayed in the Kehlstein Suite which had two large balconies with views to the south and east - amazing views of the mountains including the iconic Watzmann and the Eagle’s Nest. Our accommodation was extremely spacious with a separate sitting area plus TV and a fridge tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was super clean with a whirlpool bath and superb shower which was also a sauna. Our hostess was kind and helpful and provided a brilliant breakfast with eggs cooked to order. We ate outside most mornings - what more could you ask for gazing at the incredible alpine views while enjoying your morning coffee? We also loved meeting Max the dachshund! Berchtesgaden is a ten minute walk but there are several excellent restaurants nearer than that. We really enjoyed our stay - don’t miss this beautiful Bavarian retreat!
