Pension Lugeck

Just arrived home after a lovely 7-night stay at Pension Lugeck with my wife and 6-year old daughter. The B&B is located quite a way up a steep hill above Berchtesgaden, but providing you don't mind a bit of exercise you can get into town within 10 minutes (even with a 6-year old!) The breakfast options were of a traditional continental style, and the building is of the lovely wooden chalet style. We had a balcony facing north-east from Room 9, although we had a peek in Room 7 which was a larger family room and the views from that balcony are much better and face Watzmann (although the view would be obscured by a tree in the summer months). Our only complaint was the bed pillows, which were very deflated and unsupportive! It could be that they are of a more traditional style, but we didn't get on with them that well. Bedroom 7 also has a very noisy bathroom extractor fan which turns on a minute or so after turning the light on, and it stays on for quite a few minutes! There is no way to turn it off unfortunately. Otherwise highly recommended!
