Driving across Europe to the Czech Republic I needed a place to rest up near Nuremberg and what a find courtesy of my satnav! Nestled in the woods in Rummelsberg this little hotel presents as a modern but quaint haven. All I wanted was an affordable single room with a shower and for a little over €60 it was just perfect. The receptionist (a Czech lady actually) was sympathetic to my unannounced arrival. I had literally driven from Dunkirk that morning. The room was clean and comfortable, great shower and the beer really hit the spot. But the highlight aside from the friendly staff was the meal......a very nice high end menu but I chose the burger......and I have to say this was THE best I have ever had and really put the icing on the cake. If you want a beautiful stay within striking distance of Nuremberg (and the delightful Altdorf) then Hotel Anders is unbeatable!!! And if you've never been to Nuremberg old town...put it on your list, you won't be disappointed!
