Lindacher Hof

We went to Burghausen to see Altstadt (old town) with its famous Castle-Complex, its Churches and Monasteries, and the old town center. We (me and my wife and teenaged son) stayed 2 nights in Lindacher Hof which is at the heart (besides a big park) of the Neustad (new town - about 5 minutes drive to the old town), a modern commercial area with shops, restaurants, different services, department stores. We had no difficulty parking infront of the Hotel. We were given an impressive Apartment on the first floor: the main door opened to an entrance/fleur which then had 4 doors - on the left was the main bedroom, infront was the bathroom (spacious with a big washbasin, bathtub with shower curtain), then a small toilet/WC, then on the left was a big room with 2 desks/tables and chairs, a kitchenette cooker, mini-refrigarator, coffe-maker, washbasin, and cupboards with complete cooking/eating utensils, and a big-sofa-bed which became the extrabed. Both rooms had TVs and the bedroom had a big queen-sized bed. Both rooms opened to a huge terrace overlooking the garden with practical plastic table and chairs. The Hotel and the rooms looks new/refurbished, and had Spa/Wellness. The restaurant was spacious and looked like three areas, combining a bar/lounge area, then another lounge area, which seemed popular in the evenings. Breakfast was sumptous and very good. WiFi was excellent and free. We had our lunches/dinners in different places just near the Hotel and in the old town. We really enjoyed our stay in Lindacher Hof and in Burghausen.
