Bann is a small village located near the town of Landstuhl and the Ramstein Air Base. This is the only hotel in the village. The rooms are no frills but very clean and comfortable. The owner was so concerned about us catching a cab at 4:30 in the morning that she awakened at 4:00am to make sure our transportation arrived. There is an attached restaurant, which was closed during our one-night stay on Monday, but which locals extolled as very good German food. If we return to Bann, we will stay here again.
