We had a pleasant-2 night stay made all the more enjoyable by meeting the on-site owner-manager who clearly is making, and will be making, substantial improvements. These are already evident in the offering of the hotel spa, and in a very fine breakfast buffet. This served in the hotel restaurant which has a fine terrace and, like many of the bedrooms, has a spectacular view over the Bad Sooden-Allendorf and the Werra valley. The hotel is a 12 min walk up from the Bahnhof, 6 mins from the WerratalTherme (the salt baths). The rooms are modest, but very quiet and the views are lovely.
