Wellness-Suiten Neuburxdorf

We have just returned from a three night stay at the Alt Schule, the accommodation is as described, a doulbe bedroom and two other bedrooms with two single beds. a large lounge with sat tv and dvd player and dining table for six, the kitchen is equiped with every mod con and the bathroom has a jacuzi and a very exciting multi power shower. There is a lovely bar and shop next door with very friendly people, a bus stop outside with buses to Bad Liebenwerda and Muhlberg. We travelled by train from Berlin to Falkenberg and then bus to Muhlberg. Points to note buses do not run at the weekend and most resturants close on a Monday although we found one in Neuborxdorf ten minutes walk away. The walk to the ground area of Stalag 4b is about 1 mile, there are no buildings remaining but the information boards give a good indication of the camp. The information is all in sanitised German, take a picnic and a drink with you. The locals are very friendly and social although most adults spoke only German we managed to converse easily. The only downside was being charged 45 Euros to clean up after we left.
