The Hotel Stadtschänke is located in the center of Bad König, directly opposite the thermal baths and only a few steps from the castle. We were welcomed, our room was quite large with enough storage space for luggage, a comfortable bed, sofa seats and daylight shower toilet (incl. Fön). The facility is rustic and reminds me of the 80s, but that doesn't bother my wife and me at all. The room was very clean. Good breakfast buffet, an elevator is available. There is also a small yard with hostel. Very good price-performance ratio. We will definitely be back!

A nice stay in the Odenwald

The rooms are relatively large and decorated in the style of the 1970s, but give a somewhat outdated, used impression. The beds are comfortable, however. A flat screen TV with more than 50 programs is available. Breakfast is ok (positive is that there are freshly prepared eggs to choose from). A reserved parking space (distance of about 50 meters) is available. Positive is that there is also a single room at half the price of the double room.

Quiet hotel opposite the spa

The hotel stayed in the '70s. The staff was friendly, but the room was awful. I wonder if anyone notices the old muff smell in the room and in the hallways. It's awful. The pillows seem to be ancient pillows that collapse without closing their eyes. The streetlights light up the room to the point where the yellow curtains can't hold them off. Unfortunately, the room is a no-go. Here the old muff belongs to get out to bring in a neutral smell. I would have preferred to drive home at night.

Unfortunately, this is no longer the case.

Already for the second time, a friend and I were guests of the Hotel Stadtschänke 2 * in Bad König. We had booked a separate assessment of the Odenwald Therme from 26.02.2017. The hotel is also provided with half-boarding as part of a restaurant. The central location directly opposite the Odenwald Therme makes the hotel an excellent and inexpensive accommodation option if you want to enjoy a small break from the stressful everyday life in the Thermeis. (see here the separate assessment of the Odenwald Therme from 26.02.2017). The hotel is also provided as part of a pauschal offer in conjunction with the Odenwald Therme by the local administration. The Odenwald Hotel offers 17 double-boarding and single-boarding rooms. The individual rooms are furnished with a functional breakfast menu and are rated as good after each day's dining (French TV) and a small breakfast menu is available in the hotel, and there is still a great menu available in the hotel, as well as a nice breakfast menu available in the King's Bathroom, which is located in the basement of the Royal Bathroom, and

Nice hotel across from the Odenwald Therme

I was very satisfied with the two nights and the service provided. The quietness of the hotel is particularly commendable. It is located very centrally in Bad König and is located in a traffic-rested pedestrian zone.

Good hotel.

I was on a senior vacation with a group from December 23rd, 16th, 2017 to January 2nd, 2017 and I really enjoyed it. The Lohnes family was very nice, they responded to all requests, the food tasted good, the atmosphere was very friendly. The location is very close to the pedestrian zone and close to the spas. The rooms are very accurate.
