We were here for a weekend in November 2022. We had a great room, a very delicious and versatile breakfast and the kitchen of the restaurant was the hammer! Everything was very successful, fair prices and very, very recommended for everyone!!! Thank you, dear staff and thank you dear boss: keep going!!!,10 out of five possible stars!

It's just great, and I'll keep recommending it.

This rating only applies to the restaurant, not the hotel. On July 2, 2022, we met with friends at the restaurant Zur Post in the evening. In total, we were ten people at a table outside. The waiter was extremely unfriendly and rude, both when taking orders and when responding to a complaint about a dish. The quality of the food was average at best, and numerous steaks were not prepared according to the order. For the amount paid, there are other restaurants in the area that offer better service and better quality of the food for this amount. We will not come back here.

Restaurant - poor service, eating so la la

As you know, the restaurant is the strength. We were here for dinner for the fourth time. The service was good and the food was a revelation, the rumpsteaks we had were down to our knees, excellent quality.

It was the hammer.

We stayed and ate at the post office. We started with the overnight. Checking went smoothly despite the Corona times. Our rooms, I think almost all of them, have a large terrace overlooking the Odenwald. In the morning, the queue jumps over the nearby meadows. The rooms are large and modern enough. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is a little small, but fine. Unfortunately, the TV has only one radio station and then an Austrian one. For this, the Internet still works well. The breakfast can be ordered at 10:00 and the meal can be ordered by the hour. The food will then be delivered at the perfectly allocated table. Parking lots are available up to the house. Quiet country guesthouse and hotel

Unfortunately, only the restaurant can be evaluated.There are typical woods dishes, but there are also other dishes, which are tasty and well-arranged.

Good restaurant in the Odenwald

We just drove to the blue one day and looked for a good Odenwald local. The road through the forest didn't seem to end and we had already thought about turning around, and suddenly we were in front of the post. Luckily, there were just two seats left! The food, the drinks, the service: all first class! Paradise!! A delight!! One drop of wormwood: without reservation you have little chance of getting a seat. But if you know it.....

On Christmas and New Year's we were in this generally friendly hotel. The comfort rooms were fine but not too big, the bathrooms a little small. We had a room by the street, this was a little noisy and the sounds from the kitchen beneath were clearly audible. Otherwise, we can recommend the hotel, it is quiet, outside of Bad König about a mile down the street. The breakfast and the food were very good and cheap in the frame. The steaks are still absolutely top.

We were satisfied

Very nice, modern, clean and quiet hotel. Steeped in greenery. I've been a guest several times and I've always been fine. Improved Wi-Fi. Absolutely improved breakfast (at least the sweet part). Restaurant with some spectacular dishes (I recommend chicken curry with pineapple)

Modern hotel

We were very impressed with the hotel's facilities, the room with balcony left no wishes open. The view was wonderful. The hotel is perfectly suitable as a starting point for entertainment. Main, Neckar, Odenwald itself, the time is short. You can eat at the hotel, but it didn't convince us. The breakfast was fine. The staff were friendly and attentive.

It's a very nice outskirts, perfect for business.

We eat there as locals often. Typical of the woods, but sometimes somewhat reinterpreted and nicely decorated. Service is always very friendly, in summer you sit on a unique terrace overlooking forest and meadows. We celebrated our wedding there and also took the rooms. Rooms were super, beautiful balconies and breakfast absolutely sufficient.
