We had a great weekend at Das Ludwig! Went to celebrate a 30th birthday and the hotel laid on nice table decorations, prosecco on the house and a little birthday gift. :) We arrived after the dinner buffet ended on Friday but staff quickly made us a reservation at their second restaurant, an Austrian style place that was open a bit later. In the end we were glad to have eaten in both places since both are included in half board (not drinks though). Food in both restaurants was absolutely delicious. At the main buffet restaurant we effectively had a five course meal which could have been even longer if we'd allowed more time!! Lovely quality. Breakfasts also super and until 11. Everything you could want. We used the pools and sauna area and found them very clean and quiet, not difficult to find a space etc. We liked the tea and water that was available. The rooms were absolutely lovely, ours had a table and seating area that was very cute. The hotel stocks your minibar with a variety of waters that are also included- nice touch. Overall we found the weekend very enjoyable and good value (also thanks to our discount voucher) and would definitely return!
