Typical B&B for small German towns, authentic, solid and in very good shape. The place is on the hill and is OK if you have a car, as we did. I'm not sure if it is convenient to reach the hotel with luggage without transportation. We booked two rooms and were expected. A little disappointed because rooms were in different buildings and we had to go to and fro every time. Also, our room, which had a kitchenette, had no internet and even no telephone to correspond with our relatives in the second building. The owner explained that wifi pollutes... well... maybe, as cell phones do... this is not proven yet... but in this case: a) you don't promise internet and b) provide a wired connection. I have some food restrictions and need to cook own food, so kitchenette was necessary for us. However, the supplied cookware was too small, you cannot cook something like a whole chicken, for example. Also, the cutting knife or cutting board are not provided, and utensils are minimal. If you need anything, you have to go to another building, and frequently there is nobody there to talk to. However, the place is very clean, safe, has free parking, rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good, and the owner would do everything to help you. We were leaving early in the morning and he prepared us cold breakfast to go. We enjoyed the stay and recommend the hotel to everyone, it has good value.
