34 reviewsFirst, you have to take into consideration that this place is in the middle of nowhere, and you'd have to have a reason to go there. I was in the area for a wedding. If you go there knowing beforehand that it's a small village with nothing much to do, then you're expectations won't be too high. It's a cute place that provides the necessities. I think 4 stars is good based on location. If this were in a bigger city, I'd only give 3 stars. Again, location drives expectations. The man running the place was very nice and patient with me when I was asking for directions. Just a couple things to give a heads up: The restaurant isn't the only one in the village, but it is closed on Thursdays. I've left a review for the other restaurant, Zum Alten Friederich. The pillows are pretty flat, so bring your own.
