We stayed here after visiting the Nurburgring. Considering the price was €30 a night the facilities were excellent. A hot shower, free wifi and comfy beds. The hotel is very clean. The decor is a bit dated, but I liked the way the hotel looked though. The location was lovely too , beautiful scenery. This hotel was great value and I would recommend it

The rooms are in an annexe to the restaurant overlooking the camp ground below. We were staying in a room for four, which was very spacious. The bed seemed a little soft and the room had a rustic, slightly dark atmosphere. The bathroom was okay although of a rather small size. The choice at the breakfast buffet was plenty and of good quality. The hotel is at the outskirts of the village and not many cars could be heard and seen. All in all a good choice if you are looking for a place to stay whilst visiting an event at the Nürburgring.

Excellent hotel in a lovely location

The restaurant is next to the campsite where we were staying. The menu was not extensive, with standard fare food such as schnitzel and goulash. It was disappointing because the schnitzel was not made fresh but a frozen manufactured product. I should have realised when the menu stated it had flavour enhancers, a sure sign of highly processed food. I took a quick look at our neighbours meal, they had ordered goulash, it looked like a microwave meal. I certainly would not recommend.

Disappointing meal

We were staying on the campsite next door and thought we would treat ourselves to a meal in the restaurant next door. We arrived at about 7.30 pm and obviously this was considered too late by the waiter/owner.   Not at all pleased to see his customers! We ordered salad and pizza to share and when i asked for an extra plate he told me we had enough plates and got quite angry when i still said we needed one. He slammed the extra plate down on the table and we ate the meal sheepishly. All ruined! When we got the bill he had charged us an extra E1.50 for extra cutlery. Could not believe it.  Never go there he was such a horrible rude man.
