Stadtzimmer Am Bahnhof

Having read some of the previous reviews, I started to wonder what makes a review. In my opinion, things like the interior design are secondary . What is important is the quality of the food served and the friendliness of the staff/owners. I had a carpaccio di manzo as starter and the filetto ai laardo e tartuffo, whereas my friends had the mixed fish grill platter. Both dishes were excellent, prepared to perfection and just the right size of portion. We didn't leave hungry. For wine we did have a white and a red house wine, as suggested by the owner when I asked for the wine list. Both the Pinot Grigio and the Cannonau were very good for house wines. Most other customers were locals, judging from their welcome and all. In general, it gives the impression of being a place where mostly locals come. the second impression that I got is that the owner seems to be used that his customers comply to his suggestions, something I love to do most of the time anyway.
